Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using the Intreys software and services ("Service") operated by CyberShelt LLC ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Intreys is a desktop software application for deep packet inspection, network forensics, and threat analysis. The Service includes the desktop application, license server at license.intreys.com, and related documentation and support.

3. Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. License Grant

Community Edition: The Community edition is provided free of charge under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, educational, and non-commercial use.

Professional, Team, and Enterprise / MSSP Editions: Paid licenses grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for the number of seats purchased during the active subscription period. Each seat is bound to a single machine at a time. All paid tiers, including Enterprise / MSSP, are available through public Stripe self-checkout under these standard Terms of Use. Self-checkout does not by itself create or imply any custom contract terms. Optional written agreements covering volume pricing, procurement / purchase order workflows, a Master Services Agreement (MSA), Data Processing Addendum (DPA), Business Associate Agreement (BAA), custom Service Level Agreements, 24x7 support commitments, on-prem or air-gapped deployment, customer-managed key (BYOK / CMEK) commitments, government / public-sector terms, or MSSP / reseller terms are available on request through [email protected]; where in conflict, an executed written agreement controls over these standard Terms.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our payment processor
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the current period ends
• You may cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal; access continues through the end of the paid period
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not exceeded reasonable usage thresholds
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

6. Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for paid features. Trials are limited to one per person or organization. Abuse of the trial system (including creating multiple accounts or using disposable email addresses) may result in account termination.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unauthorized network interception or surveillance
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the licensed components of the Service
• Circumvent license enforcement, seat limits, or machine binding
• Share, transfer, or sublicense your license key to third parties
• Use the Service to develop a competing product
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the license server or other users' accounts
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by CyberShelt LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of any intellectual property.

9. Data and Privacy

Intreys is designed to operate offline and locally. Network captures (PCAP files) are processed on your local machine and are never transmitted to our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data we collect.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party threat intelligence APIs (AbuseIPDB, VirusTotal, GreyNoise, etc.) and AI providers. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data handling.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that security analyses will detect all threats.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CYBERSHELT LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CyberShelt LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third party's rights.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use paid features will end immediately. Sections 8, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States (the state of incorporation of CyberShelt LLC), without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify existing subscribers of material changes via email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
